2021 Starting Quarterback Predictions

With Super Bowl LV in the rear view and the offseason upon us, it’s the perfect time to look ahead to the 2021 season and make predictions about who will be under center for the first snaps of the regular season.

Now, plenty of sources make predictions like this, so we’re throwing in a little wrinkle as the three of us compete by assigning confidence points to each QB-team pairing, 1 to 32 (more points means more confidence).

On Wednesday, September 15, after the opening week ends, we’ll look back during our show and tally up how accurate each of us were with our predictions.

Biggest misses: 17 points on Drew Lock for DEN, 11 points on Teddy Bridgewater for CAR, 10 points on Deshaun Watson for MIA

Best Prediction: 21 points on Matt Ryan for ATL (Cory and Evan put 7 and 12 points on Justin Fields, respectively)

Cory Puffett - 460 points (22 out of 32 correct)

Biggest misses: 17 points on Teddy Bridgewater for CAR, 12 points on Taylor Heinicke for WAS, 11 points on Drew Lock for DEN

Best Prediction: 30 points on Russell Wilson for SEA (Evan and Eric put 19 and 18 points on Wilson, respectively)

Evan Ash - 439 points (20 out of 32 correct)

Biggest miss: 14 points on Deshaun Watson for SF, 13 points on Carson Wentz for CHI, 12 points on Justin Fields for ATL

Best Prediction: 20 points on Jameis Winston for NO (Cory and Eric put 9 and 8 points on Winston, respectively)
