Meet: Evan Ash

Education & Training

Evan graduated from DeMatha Catholic High School in June 2008 and moved to Atlanta, Ga. to attend Georgia Tech. After graduating in 2013 with his B.S. in Civil Engineering, Evan remained in the Atlanta for nearly a decade before returning to Maryland, still working in the engineering space.

A regular listener of The All-Sports Crew, the WMUC Sports show co-hosted by Cory and Eric, Evan began his own podcast in 2015. Producing episodes intermittently until March 2018, Evan produced 71 episodes of the Ash Backwards podcast, sometime running the show solo but often bringing on various guests. Cory and Eric both appeared on the Ash Backwards podcast during the show's run.

Sports Fandom

A close follower of Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets sports, especially football, basketball, and baseball, Evan never lost his Maryland roots when it comes to professional athletics. Evan bleeds purple and orange as an ardent supporter of the Baltimore Ravens and the Baltimore Orioles.
