Shoutout to the top performers of Week 12! Adr1an25* won as the only entrant with 10 correct picks.
This year we are hosting our pick'em contest on Sleeper, and just because you missed the first three weeks doesn't mean you can't still join and try to catch the pack.
Let's get to our concensus misses and lone wolf picks from Week 13.
*If you want to be shouted out by name, be sure to let us know who you are!
This week featured one game where the three of us were in agreement and went down with the ship together. Those games were:
Arizona Cardinals at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-3.5) - All three Sportsballers laid the points, feeling the Bucs should have been favorited by a lot more. Instead, the Cardinals did just enough to cover, losing by exactly a field goal.

We also had several games where one of us went off the beaten path. Here are those games and whether our lone wolf got the kill or unexpectedly found himself as the prey:
Green Bay Packers at Detroit Lions (-3.5) - Evan was the lone member of the Sportsballers to take the points despite the Lions track record against the Pack during Waxing Crescent Moons. A gutsy 4th down call to ice the game paid off for Green Bay as they held on a for a 7-point win on Turkey Day.
Pool results: 56% took GB
Kansas City Chiefs (-3.5) at Dallas Cowboys - Eric was the lone member of the Sportsballers to lay the points on the road team in the middle Thanksgiving Day game. Despite a strong outing by Patrick Mahomes, the Cowboys took the day with a statement win.
Pool results: 65% took DAL
Chicago Bears at Philadelphia Eagles (-7.5) - Evan was the lone member of the Sportsballers unafraid to lay more than a touchdown in a Black Friday matchup between teams with identical 8-3 records. For the fourth straight game to begin the week, the underdog not only covered but won their game.
Pool results: 65% took CHI
Los Angeles Rams (-10.5) at Carolina Panthers - Eric was the lone member of the Sportsballers unafraid to lay double digits on a West Coast team traveling to the East Coast. Carolina covered and then some, winning by three thanks in part to a Pick 6 after Stafford set the NFL record for touchdown passes thrown between interceptions with 28.
Pool results: 28% took CAR
San Francisco 49ers (-6.5) at Cleveland Browns - Eric was the lone member of the Sportsballers to lay nearly a touchdown on the 49ers. This time it worked out for him and it wasn't particularly close.
Pool results: 66% took SF
Houston Texans at Indianapolis Colts (-4.5) - Evan failed to make a pick for this game, giving him the lone wolf loss as Cory and Eric each took the Texans, who covered and won their matchup.
Pool results: 54% took HOU
New Orleans Saints at Miami Dolphins (-5.5) - Eric showed some rare confidence in his team as the lone member of the Sportsballers to take the points. The Saints couldn't pull off the upset, but they did keep their losing margin to four points.
Pool results: 38% took NO
Atlanta Falcons (-2.5) at New York Jets - Evan was the lone member of the Sportsballers to lay nearly a field goal on the Falcons. The Jets, instead, got their third victory of the season despite Atlanta having the better offensive day but nearly all metrics.
Pool results: 17% took NYJ
Jacksonville Jaguars (-6.5) at Tennessee Titans - Eric was the lone member of the Sportsballers unafraid to lay nearly a touchdown on the Jags. He barely had to sweat. After Tennessee opened the scoring with a field goal, the Jags scored the game's final 25 points to win handily.
Pool results: 83% took JAC
Minnesota Vikings at Seattle Seahawks (-10.5) - Evan was the lone member of the Sportsballers spooked by the larger spread in this one, but he should have been more confident. Despite Sam Darnold and Seattle's passing game never taking flight, the Hawks skunked the Vikings with a 26-0 victory.
Pool results: 62% took SEA
Buffalo Bills (-4.5) at Pittsburgh Steelers - Evan was the lone member of the Sportsballers to take the points. One can hardly blame him with Buffalo's inconsistency of late, but it wasn't particularly close as Pittsburgh did just a touchdown better against Buffalo than Minnesota did against Seattle.
Pool results: 72% took BUF
Denver Broncos (-6.5) at Washington Commanders - Evan was the lone member of the Sportsballers to take the points. Denver got the win in overtime and Evan got the lone wolf victory as the Commodes failed on a 2-point try and lost by a point.
Pool results: 27% took WAS
