Shoutout to the top performers of Week 10! Cjbrock* won as the only entrant with 11 correct picks out of 14 games.
This year we are hosting our pick'em contest on Sleeper, and just because you missed the first three weeks doesn't mean you can't still join and try to catch the pack.
Let's get to our concensus misses and lone wolf picks from Week 11.
*If you want to be shouted out by name, be sure to let us know who you are!
This week featured five games where the three of us were in agreement and went down with the ship together. Those games were:
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Buffalo Bills (-5.5) - All three Sportsballers took the points after a disappointing outing for Josh Allen and the Bills last week. Buffalo flipped the script back at home and, despite missing a lot of weapons in the passing game and those who did play performing poorly, Josh Allen had a huge game and led Buffalo to a double digit win.
Pool results: 44% took BUF
Los Angeles Chargers (-2.5) at Jacksonville Jaguars - All three Sportsballers faded the Jags and laid the points on the Chargers. It was LA's worst game of the season and there was no need for Trevor Lawrence to rally from a 27-point deficit as his squad dismantled the Bolts to the tune of a 35-6 route.
Pool results: 17% took JAC
Cincinnati Bengals at Pittsburgh Steelers (-5.5) - All three Sportsballers took the points and despite Mason Rudolph being forced into the game for Pittsburgh, they came away with a 22-point victory over the Bengals, who can't get Joe Burrow back soon enough.
Pool results: 43% took PIT
Houston Texans (-7.5) at Tennessee Titans - All three Sportsballers laid the points, showing no faith in the Titans. Calvin Ridley broke his fibula and will miss the rest of the year, but the Titans still kept the score close and only lost by a field goal.
Pool results: 26% took TEN
Detroit Lions at Philadelphia Eagles (-1.5) - All three Sportsballers took the points, presumably expecting the Lions to win outright. In one of the worst Sunday Night Football games in recent memory, the Lions offense sputtered and though the defense prevented Philly from opening up an insurmountable lead, Jared Goff failed to capitalize, completing just two of his last 18 pass attempts.
Pool results: 38% took PHI
We also had several games where one of us went off the beaten path. Here are those games and whether our lone wolf got the kill or unexpectedly found himself as the prey:
Washington Commanders at Miami Dolphins (-2.5) - Eric was the lone member of the Sportsballers to lay the points on the designated home team for the NFL's last international game of 2025. The two teams traded field goals in each of the first two quarters before Washington took a 13-6 lead in the third. Miami tied it up and then picked off Marcus Mariota immediately in the overtime period, converting a field goal to just barely give Eric the lone wolf victory.
Pool results: 21% took LV
Carolina Panthers at Atlanta Falcons (-3.5) - Cory was the lone member of the Sportsballers to take the points. The Panthers have been on a tear, not necessarily playing great football but winning games. Cory rolled the dice on that to continue and it paid off as they not only covered but won the game in overtime.
Pool results: 56% took CAR
Chicago Bears at Minnesota Vikings (-3.5) - Eric was the lone member of the Sportsballers to lay the points. The Bears fell behind 3-0 after the Vikings kicked a field goal to score the game's first points, but they never trailed by more than that all game and ultimately won the game by a narrow margin.
Pool results: 62% took CHI
Green Bay Packers (-7.5) at New York Giants - Eric was the lone member of the Sportsballers unafraid of the large spread in favor of the road team. Jameis Winston kept the Giants in it. The final score was their largest deficit of the game and it came in just under the 7.5-point spread.
Pool results: 35% took NYG
Seattle Seahawks at Los Angeles Rams (-2.5) - Cory was the lone member of the Sportsballers to lay the points. They spent nearly the entire first half and most of the fourth quarter ahead of the spread, but a late Seahawks touchdown put their final deficit at just two points.
Pool results: 56% took SEA
Baltimore Ravens (-8.5) at Cleveland Browns - Evan was the lone member of the Sportsballers to take the points. Whether he was emotionally hedging or just afraid of the large spread, it worked out perfectly for him. His Ravens won despite Lamar Jackson playing his worst game in recent memory but the Browns kept the margin of defeat to just seven points.
Pool results: 18% took CLE
Kansas City Chiefs (-3.5) at Denver Broncos - Eric was the lone member of the Sportsballers to lay the points on the road team. The officiating crew certainly tried to help him out, but the Broncos wound up taking a narrow victory against their division rivals, solidifying their hold on the AFC West.
Pool results: 44% took DEN
