2018 Season Recap

For the first season of The Sportsballers Podcast, we picked every NFL game straight up, tracked our overall picks records for the season, and awarded points for correct picks on games where our hosts were not in agreement on which team would win.

Evan got off to a fast start, scoring six points in Week 1 to just two points for Eric and one for Cory. A strong Week 2 brought Cory up to six points, two points behind Evan and three points ahead of Eric.

Cory took the lead in Week 4, Evan pulled into a tie with him in Week 6, and then the following week Eric took the lead and held it the rest of the way.

When the regular season reached its conclusion, Eric had 38 points, 6 more than Evan in second place and 12 more than Cory in third. Their respective picks records were 170-86, 164-92, and 158-98.

Though he made a run for the playoff victory, Cory picked the Los Angeles Rams to beat the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LIII, leaving him with four playoff points to Eric's five.
