All-time H2H: Stephen leads series 6-5
The only game without a Top 6 scorer, Stephen was still in striking distance entering Monday Night Football with Isiah Pacheco and Harrison Butker left to make up a 22.37-point deficit. With only about 11 points between them, the defending champ couldn’t pull out his sixth win of the season.
An injury to Quinshon Judkins midway through the third quarter certainly factored in, but Brandon’s squad had better balance across the offense with Jalen Warren’s 9.24-point outing the only single digit score outside of the kicker and defense positions. He even pulled off a rare successful double-TE move, and with two rookies no less, as Harold Fannin and Oronde Gadsden combined for just shy of 30 points!
All-time H2H: Series tied 3-3
All-time H2H: Sean leads series 2-1
All-time H2H: Alex leads series 6-2
All-time H2H: William leads series 10-8
All-time H2H: Cory leads series 10-9
Free Agent All-Stars vs Tom Brady Award Winner
Every week, we take the best possible lineup made of players who were available on waivers in the AFL at the end of the week and compare it to the top scoring team of the week in our league. Included percentages for the Free Agent All-Star players represent the percentage of FleaFlicker leagues in which each the player was rostered as of data gathering (usually Tuesday morning).
Final Score:
Free Agent All-Stars – 140.19
Eric Meyer – 129.93
YTD Tom Brady Award Winner Record: 2-6
IR Report
In our league, any player can be placed on IR regardless of injury designation. Once on IR, the player cannot be moved, dropped, or traded for a minimum of three weeks.
After Week 1, IR placements are retroactive to the prior week as long as the player was already on the team's roster but was not in the starting lineup during that prior week. This means those players will be eligible to come off IR after just a two-week stay.
Competitive Lineup Penalty Report
This year, we instituted a new rule requiring managers to start a full lineup of active players. A strike system penalizes managers who leave inactive players, or players on bye, in their starting lineup.
Strike 1: No penalty
Strike 2: Fine of $100 FAAB + move to back of all postseason tiebreakers
Strike 3: Repeat Strike 2 penalty + move to back of every round of next year's draft
Strike 4: Dismissal from AFL
Strikes clear in reverse order, two seasons (currently 30 regular season weeks) after the first earned strike.

Chuck Knox Award (Best Coach) Brandon Saunders #15 in his career (2nd most all-time)
Harold Fannin as a FLEX play may not have been a coaching risk for Brandon on its own, but when he added Tyjae Spears Sunday morning it became a risk because another available player, Darnell Mooney, had a higher projection than Fannin and could have been added instead of Spears and plugged into his starting lineup. It wound up working out in Brandon's favor as he earned 13.18 points from that decision, more than the 11.31 points he beat Stephen April by.
Honorable Mention: William Battle earned a league-high 20.84 points this week by succeeding on two of his three coaching risks. He missed out on 0.07 points by starting Patrick Mahomes over Josh Allen at QB, but he made up for that with 1.50 points by adding Dalton Schultz for a FLEX start instead of Darnell Mooney and then added another 19.41 points by starting RJ Harvey instead of Keon Coleman in his second FLEX spot.
Hue Jackson Award (Worst Coach) Alex Kincaid #12 in his career (3rd most all-time)
Though he only failed on one of his two coaching risks, Alex cost his team a league-high 20.67 points this week. He actually earned a solid 9.10 points by picking up Washington's defense for a spot start instead of Cincinnati's, a pretty big risk considering Washington was projected for negative points. But he made a huge mistake that cost his team 29.77 points by starting Xavier Worthy instead of James Cook in his FLEX.
Managers took a combined 14 coaching risks this week and were successful on 6. The league's net point differential was -8.43
To date in 2025, the AFL has a .440 success rate on 116 total coaching risks with a -120.79 point differential
