We have officially passed the midpoint of the fantasy regular season. Four teams are 5-2, each leading their respective divisions. The way things have gone the past few weeks, though, only one team is really out of the race for all intents and purposes.
Eric Meyer’s South Park-themed team led the league in scoring for the second time this season and only needed 105.8 points to do so. Granted, he sat his defense on Monday night to ensure he would hold his narrow lead in the game of the week.
The six winning teams from Week 7 averaged just 94.3 points, 6.5 points fewer than the previous low in league history. The losing teams averaged 84.5 points, one of the 10 best weeks for losing teams in league history.
Andrew Perez led all league members with three starters finishing among the top five scorers at their positions.
Check out the review of Week 7 below (team names have been changed to the names of their owners):
Game of the Week: Eric Meyer at Saswat Misra
Both teams were in desperate need of a win to stay in their division races and with a huge Sunday night outing, Demaryius Thomas lifted Eric to a narrow victory. Thomas caught Peyton Manning’s 509th and 510th career touchdown passes. Only fitting that Eric wins this week’s Peyton Manning Award.
