Almost a third of the season is over and while the last undefeated team has already established a big division lead, the other three divisions are still wide open.
Danny Hatcher’s Team Awesome, the defending league champs, put up a league-leading 142.7 points in a victory over Evan Ash, who has had poor luck and has faced weekly high-scorer two straight weeks now.
The six winning teams from Week 4 averaged 123.2 points, up 19 points from last week and 14 points from Week 1. The six losing teams averaged 81.4 points, up 16 points from last week but still six points lower than the Week 1 average.
After four teams put three players on the week’s scoring leaders list last week, five teams did it this week. Danny Hatcher and Cory Puffett each repeated while Anthony Battle, William Massimini and Saswat Misra joined them.
Saswat Misra joins Cory Puffett as the only team to start a top-fiver scorer at each offensive position in a single week. Saswat started Aaron Rodgers (No. 2 QB), Frank Gore (No. 4 RB), Randall Cobb (No. 4 WR) and Delanie Walker (No. 4 TE) this week.
Hatcher and Puffett accounted for four of the league’s five 30-point performances. Hatcher started Jamaal Charles and DeMarco Murray while Puffett had Andrew Luck and Matt Asiata on his team.
For the second week in a row, the waiver wire play of the week goes to Danny Hatcher. Last week he picked up the Saints defense and they gave him 9 points. This week he dropped them and added the Ravens defense. The Saints recorded their third poor game of the season by scoring -8.6 points against the Cowboys while the Ravens scored 9.4 points and helped Danny score more points than any team has managed in A Football Life so far this season.

Game of the Week: Anthony Battle at Brandon Saunders
After a solid Thursday game for Alfred Morris and big outings for Lamar Miller and Martellus Bennett, it looked like an easy win for Brandon, but you can never count out Anthony as he got some big offensive performances of his own and 17 points from his kicker to get his third win and second Peyton Manning Award of the season.
