Mike Washington's Ball Hawks had the highest point total in A Football Life during Week 2. He'll look for a second straight win in Week 3 over 0-2 William Massimini.
Two weeks down and, at least in my league, 11 to go in the fantasy football regular season.
Once again, the Football Freaks’ #1 fan, Evan Ash, is to be congratulated. His had the second-highest point total this week, behind only Mike Washington, and he won the Game of the Week award. For the second straight week, he was one of two teams to win against a team that topped 100 points.
This week’s winners averaged 109.1 points, down roughly 20 points from last week. The losing teams averaged 91.4 points, just about nine more per team.
There are three undefeated teams left, though none face off in Week 3. There are two games between .500 teams, including the Game of the Week matchup between Anthony B. and Eric M.
Check out the review of week 1 below (team names have been changed to the names of their owners):
Game of the Week: Cory Puffett at Evan Ash
A much stronger outing for the Ravens defense helped make up for Peyton Manning only throwing 2 TDs (down from 7 in Week 1) and Victory Cruz being shut out of the end zone (after hauling in 3 TDs in Week 1). Rough outings for Reggie Wayne and Reggie Bush (and an 0/3 performance from Houston kicker Randy Bullock), doomed Cory in an important early-season matchup with a division rival.
