Just two weeks remain in the regular season of A Football Life. Both NFC divisional races will come down to the final two weeks as five of six teams are still in contention for those two divisional titles.
The league saw it’s first tie this week, though it won’t become official until Saturday when all stats become final. William B. and Mike W. played to a 96.3-96.3 draw. William B. got 28.1 points from Cam Newton on Monday night, the most of any quarterback. He also had the #3 receiver and #3 tight end among starters in the league this week.
Danny H. improved to 10-1, still tied for best in the league. In his win he scored a league-best 138.4 points.
Sean K. won the game of the week against Saswat M. to keep his playoff hopes alive.
Excluding the tie game, winners averaged 114.1 points per game this week, up more than 13 points from last week. The losing teams averaged 82.0 points per game, up about a point from Week 10.
Check out the review of Week 11 below (team names have been changed to the names of their owners):
Game of the Week: Saswat Misra at Sean Kennedy
Saswat was already well out of playoff contention. But Sean trailed by just one game in their division and faced a must-win game late in the season. He did just that as five players scored double figures and Tony Gonzalez missed by less than a point.
EDIT
Of course, stat corrections can come at any time during the week, but I usually don't come back and edit these posts because these stat corrections don't generally change any outcomes.
This week, one stat correction does. Andre Ellington, the Cardinals RB, was given an addition carry, which counts as 0.1 points in our league. That was enough to break the tie between William B. and Mike W.
William B. had Andre Ellington on his starting roster and so ends up with a 96.4-96.3 victory.
