All-time H2H: Series tied 3-3
When you lose by 30 points, you don’t expect to have much to hang your hat on. That’s not entirely the case for Stephen. Though he did lose the game of the week for a second straight week, his squad put up the fourth most points of the week in the AOA and he outscored Rich on offense by just more than half a point.
It was on the mound that Rich did his damage and pulled out a fourth consecutive Rickey Henderson Award. With an ERA just a touch over 1.00 and a WHIP well under 1.000 across by far the most innings pitched for the week, he extended his winning streak and kept pace in the AOA East.
Stephen's top scorer: Dylan Cease, 12.40 points (2 starts)
Rich's top scorer: Ranger Suarez, 13.95 points (1 start)
All-time H2H: Cory leads series 13-7
Cory's top scorer: Max Fried, 14.60 points (2 starts)
Sean's top scorer: Chase Burns, 20.30 points (2 starts)
All-time H2H: Sam leads series 13-2
Sam's top scorer: Kris Bubic, 16.10 points (2 starts)
Alex's top scorer: Aaron Judge, 13.35 points (6 games)
All-time H2H: Eric leads series 8-6-2
Cory's top scorer: Shohei Ohtani, 10.45 points (1 start & 4 games)
Eric's top scorer: Byron Buxton, 14.85 points (7 games)
Rich Blorstad usurped Cory Puffett at the top of this week's power rankings, claiming poll position for the 13th time in his career.
Alex Mayo dropped two spots like Sean Kennedy did last week, falling back to the bottom of the power rankings for the 15th time in his career.
