Ben Rice 2x repeat
Jose Ramirez repeat
Ben Rice has been on a tear lately. He's been the Mike Piazza Award winner three weeks running!
Rich cleaned up this week. In addition to Rice, he had Ramirez at third base, Trout in the outfield, and Miller in relief as the top scorers at their respective positions. Ramirez has won back-to-back Wade Boggs Awards and is up to 20 weekly positional awards in his career.
The outfield award is named for Mike Trout, but he's not had consistent success since the AOA's formation, largely because he's not had consistent health. This is just his 5th weekly positional award and after claiming it in this year's season opener, this is the first time he's ever claimed the award twice in a single season!
Seager earned player of the week recognition for the 12th time in his career while Lowe and Abrams each earned their 6th player of the week honors.
All-time H2H: Cory leads series 10-6
In a rematch of the first ever AOA title game that certainly lived up to the game of the week hype, Cory’s Fireflies held off a late-week rally from Sam’s Lowlanders.
The two essentially had inverted offensive and pitching totals for the week, with Sam’s relief duo of Riley O’Brien and Cade Smith putting up strong numbers across eight combined appearances. Unfortunately, poor starts from Kris Bubic, Sonny Gray, and Mitch Keller undermined an advantage Cory’s squads have rarely given opponents over the years.
With only three relief appearances from his bullpen and three mediocre starts from his rotation, Cory left the door open but 20 extra base hits and a .372 OBP gave Cory enough of a lift offensively to escape with a win and become the last undefeated team in the 2026 AOA season.
Cory's top scorer: Framber Valdez, 19.40 points (2 starts)
Sam's top scorer: Bryan Woo, 18.00 points (2 starts)

Alex's top scorer: George Kirby, 17.45 points (2 starts)
Cory's top scorer: Abner Uribe, 15.90 points (4 appearances)

Stephen's top scorer: Paul Skenes, 15.10 points (2 starts)
Cory Puffett held onto the #1 power ranking for the 53rd time in his career.
Eric Meyer and Alex Mayo have spent the first four weeks of the season trading places at the bottom of the rankings. This week, Eric took his turn for the 14th time in his career, equaling the mark Alex reached a week ago.
