All-time H2H: Stephen leads series 5-3
Reigning AOA champions move to 3-2 all-time in season-openers with Sam’s decisive win over Stephen’s Orange Team.
In the only matchup in AOA history without a single home run hit by either team, both teams cleared 50 points in what was essentially a 4-day matchup, finishing third and sixth in scoring, respectively.
Sam’s Lowlanders had a meager 2.5-point advantage on offense. The difference came on the mound. His staff put up five more innings of work and four quality starts to offset a pair of blown saves.
Stephen's top scorer: Cristopher Sanchez, 11.70 points (1 start)
Sam's top scorer: Tarik Skubal, 11.10 points (1 start)
All-time H2H: Cory P leads series 17-2
Cory P's top scorer: Max Fried, 11.15 points (1 start)
Cory F's top scorer: Kevin Gausman, 10.00 points (1 start)
All-time H2H: Rich leads series 3-1
Rich's top scorer: Garrett Crochet, 11.10 points (1 start)
Alex's top scorer: George Kirby, 10.15 points (1 start)
All-time H2H: Sean leads series 8-6

Cory Puffett earned his AOA-record 50th career #1 power ranking while also extending another record with his 29th career Rickey Henderson Award.
Alex Mayo earned his 18th career John Gochnaur Award, the second most in AOA history, which earned him his 13th career placement at the bottom of our power rankings.
