With the exception of our reigning champion, everybody hovered around 100 points for the week. We'll have to see if that holds as a trend for the season. Scoring probably should be a little bit higher considering only Cory Puffett and Stephen April utilized all seven allotted pitcher starts for the week.
As we continue through this long season, remember to keep our updated scoring settings in mind. One pitcher setting that was present last year is important to remind everyone of. If you have a pitcher starting games but appearing in your lineup in an RP slot, that pitcher will not earn points for quality starts, a value that has increased from 1 point last year to 3 points this year. Likewise, if your pitcher makes a relief appearance but occupies an SP slot in your lineup, that player will not earn points for saves, holds, or inherited runners stranded. Make sure you are placing your pitchers in the correct slot corresponding to the way they are appearing in MLB games. Some players may not have the corresponding position eligibility yet, but I do have the ability to override player eligibilities if you make an appeal.

All-time H2H: Rich leads series 3-1
Despite Cory being one of just two managers to max out his allotted pitcher starts for the week and leading the AOA in innings pitched, as well as recording the most plate appearances, he came up a bit short of a Top 4 score for the week. Even if he had snuck into that top tier, it wouldn’t have been enough against the manager who ran away with the season’s second Rickey Henderson Award. Rich’s squad was very balanced this week, and his pitchers took advantage of their teams’ offensive outputs, recording a league high 5 wins.
Rich's top scorer: Kyle Tucker, 16.25 points (6 games)
Cory's top scorer: Riley Greene, 11.70 points (6 games)
All-time H2H: Stephen leads series 3-1
Stephen's top scorer: Alex Bregman, 12.50 points (6 games)
Alex's top scorer: Freddy Peralta, 11.80 points (1 start)
All-time H2H: Sam leads series 9-3
Sam's top scorer: Hunter Brown, 10.25 points (1 start)
Eric's top scorer: Pete Alonso, 12.50 points (6 games)
All-time H2H: Sean leads series 8-4
Cory's top scorer: Jose Ramirez, 13.95 points (6 games)
Sean's top scorer: Spencer Schwellenbach, 14.10 points (1 start)
Rich jumped to the top spot in this week's power rankings with a perfect score after a very impressive outing. This is his fourth time atop the AOA power rankings in his career.
Eric remains at the bottom of the power rankings, now for the 12th time in his career.
